The 2012 goal for the Caborca area is to stay focused on the producing placer gold recovery project and to initiate production operations on the Julio quartz vein system.

8 Brothers, Ures, Sonora State Mexico. Mexus has a potential of a high grade silver mine at the 8 Brothers. At this time, Mexus is still working towards an economical means of recovering the silver or identify a potential joint venture partner.

Scorpio, Ures, Sonora State Mexico. Mexus has shown copper values from ¾% to 3 ½% with small amounts of gold value. Mexus has done only a small amount of drilling at this time, but believes in the future Mexus will be finally able to pursue a drilling program on the Scorpio copper system.

Submarine Cable. Mexus intends to work offshore early 2012 verifying the location of a 4 ½ inch, 31 pound per foot cable. Our new survey vessel is being equipped with deep water electronic locating equipment to identify the length, depth, and size of the cable. Once the survey is completed, Mexus will apply its past experience and knowledge to launch an all-out recovery effort. This cable was represented to Mexus as weighing 31.5 pounds per foot with copper, lead, and ferrous manganese steel. Until Mexus can complete its survey and sampling work, Mexus cannot verify these figures.

Mexus Selling Cable!

The Mexus tug and barge arrived in Washington State on October 31, 2011. Our sales representative, Power Com, has potential purchasers evaluating the cable and preparing bids at this time. The cable pulling equipment operated very well and above expectations, however, there were external problems which limited our capability to properly salvage a large volume of cable. The weather and sea conditions were the largest challenge to conducting efficient salvage operations. Based on the knowledge and information acquired through this initial salvage effort the determination has been made to purchase a ship with a carrying capacity of approximately 1.5 million pounds and operate at greater depths in open water under adverse weather conditions.  The target submarine cable is approximately 30 pounds per foot, therefore, storage requirements will require a ship of this magnitude for recovery of the target cable.  Mexus has already replaced its smaller survey boat with a 42' former US Coast Guard vessel powered by twin Cummins engines which is capable of operating in open water and conducting survey data acquisition to 1000 feet in depth.  This vessel will be working offshore Washington and Oregon coasts later this year to survey and identify our larger and more profitable targets.

Caborca, Sonora State, Mexico

Mexus Produces Gold!

Mexus placer gold recovery project is producing gold at this time. Mexus is adding larger equipment to the facility to increase the overall efficiency of the milling process. In addition, two larger haul trucks are scheduled to arrive in Caborca on November 11, 2011.

Mexus intends to begin a diamond core drilling program in anticipation of receiving a geological report under the standards of 43101 on the Caborca hard rock area adjacent to our placer operation by November 14, 2011. The core drilling program will initially be situated at the Julio underground mine on 100' centers and to a depth of 300'. The Julio underground mine at the 100' level has previously produced assays as high as 5.5 ounces per ton gold.  Mr. Paul Pelke, Geologist, of Reno, NV has been retained to oversee the drilling operation and will be preparing the geological report. The hard rock core drilling target area is approximately 1 square mile based on surface observations and soil evaluations.

Mining and recovery facilities for the hard rock target area are expected to include an open pit operation with an underground high grade operation at the same time.

Mexus has applied for a permit to facilitate the excavation for the ore material. Meanwhile, the modification of the drilling and processing equipment is nearly completed. The rich Sulfite silver ore is causing more of a problem than first thought. Mexus now believes we have an economical way to extract the silver and gold from the sulfite without danger to the environment. This is Mexus first concern and we expect this issue to be resolved in the near future.

Caborca Mine

Mexus is producing gold on a daily basis at its Caborca placer mine site. President Paul Thompson states now that the placer mining operation is running as planned; Mexus will concentrate on its drilling program headed by Geologist Paul Pelke of Reno, NV. Our first target is the Julio quartz vain which is approximately 3km in length and from 1 to 30 feet wide. Multiple samples taken from the 100 foot level of the Julio vain have produced assays as high as 5.5 ounces of gold per ton. Mexus has diamond core drilling equipment stationed at the Nogales, AZ border waiting to be imported into Mexico. Initially, Mexus intends to drill core holes on 100 foot centers to a depth of 600 feet.

Submarine Cable Update

Mexus cable pulling equipment has proven to work well. What is not well is the Alaska weather! Prior attempts to pull submarine cable in open waters have been hampered by the frequent storms which are common for this time of year. Mexus hopes that it will get the break in the weather needed to pull the newly found cable. This cable lies in 150 fathoms of water and contains more copper along with lead making it an attractive target.

Mexus has purchased a new SeaSpy Marine Magnetometer and all supporting equipment for surveying and locating the submarine cable, and is waiting delivery of the equipment which is expected on May 27, 2011. Mexus’ crew headed by Captain Brian Farcy and Ken Setters standing by to pull the estimated 500,000+lbs we have located in Washington state on a trial basis for the new Magnetometer surveying equipment. Mexus intends to pull the 500,000+lbs in Washington before heading back to Alaska. The 500,000+lbs of cable is believed to be a small portion of the cable located in Washington.

Caborca Mine Update: 

The Caborca Mexico crew, headed by Julio Baltazar, are installing Mexus’ deep well pump in the 8” 750ft deep well which should be producing water in approximately 10 days. This is an essential step for our placer project on the property.

CARSON CITY, Nev., Oct. 20, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mexus Gold U.S. (OTCBB: MXSG), a mining company engaged in the evaluation, acquisition, exploration, salvage and recovery of gold, silver and copper projects, is pleased to announce that Phase I Drilling Program budgets are being finalized for its Esmeralda County, Nevada mine project which consists of 150 acres of patented claims, 14 unpatented claims and 2 mill sites. Mexus has also filed an additional 12 mining claims adjacent to the existing lands situated in the Lida Mining District.

Previous Mine Engineering reports state there are drill indicated reserves and address both underground and surface open pit mining potential on the original 50 acre patented claims. A 1977 report by Andrew J. Zinkl, Mining Engineer, on the property reports 52,946 tons proven, 99,500 tons probable and 278,000 tons possible mineral bearing ore with grades averaging at 20 ounces per ton Silver and .05 ounces per ton Gold. A report dated in 1981 by E. R. Kruchowski, Mining Engineer, expanded the tonnage to 136,089 tons proven and 272,178 tons probable at average grades of 7.63 ounces Silver per ton and .05 ounces Gold per ton. Both of these previous Engineering reports covered only a portion of the 150 acre patented claims. The Company has conducted its own geological surface analysis which indicates a strike length of 4,000 feet of mineralized ground which has not been previously explored through drilling operations. The Phase I Drilling Program will incorporate this mineralized ground to further define the geological characteristics of the area and identify potential reserves on this particular area. The Company draws attention to the fact that these two reports were prepared prior to the current standards in place today for identifying and reporting mineral reserves. In the Company's opinion the reports are unto themselves a viable indication of the existence of significant mineral resources wreathe of further geological exploration and evaluation, therefore, reference was included herein.

Mexus Gold US current projects are:

Ocho Hermanos

The main feature is a sulfide zone composed primarily of galena with some pyrite and arsenopyrite. Above this zone there is an oxide zone composed of iron and lead oxides. Recent grab samples taken indicate that values over 5,000 grams per ton of silver were encountered. These samples may not reflect the average grade. However, grab sample results indicate silver values over 3,000 grams per ton appear to be not unusual. Gold in the samples ranged from 1 gram per ton to over 5 grams per ton.

370 Area

This zone is composed of a sedimentary sequence (limestone, quartzite, shale) intruded by dacite and diorite as well as rhyolite. The docite exhibits argillic alterations as well as silicification (quartz veins). The entire area is well oxidized on the surface. This is an area of classic disseminated low grade gold and silver mineralization. Surface grab sample assays show 0.14 grams per ton to as high as 29.490 grams per ton gold. This area is an important area for potentially defining an open pit heap leach project.

El Scorpion Project Area

This area has several shear zones and veins which show copper and gold mineralizations. Recent assays of a 84’ drill hole shows 2,887 grams per ton to 1,139 grams per ton of copper and 3.971 grams per ton to 0.072 grams per ton of gold. Another assay of rock sample from the area shows greater than 10,000 grams per ton copper. This land form distribution appears to be snonymous to the ideal porphyry deposit at Baja La Alumbrera, Argentina.

Los Laureles

Los Laureles is a vein type deposit mainly gold with some silver and copper. Recent assays from grab samples show gold values of 67.730 grams per ton gold, 38.4 grams per ton silver, 2,800 grams per ton copper.

Nevada Property

Mexus Gold US controls Nevada Pacific Rim’s silver and gold property.  The Pacific Rim property is located in Esmeralda County, Nevada. Consisting of approximately 150 acres of patented mining claims with water rights and 22 unpatented lode claims and two mill site claims. Management believes this is a strong exploration target. To date, 51 holes have been drilled on the patented lands.  However, Mexus has not verified the authenticity of any of these representations at this time.

Cable Salvage

Mexus Gold US Cable Salvage. Operations are expected to be concentrated from San Diego, CA to Alaska. It’s reported, but not yet verified by Mexus to date, to contain in excess of 400,000,000 pounds of salvageable copper.

Mexus Gold US is a mining company which conducts mineral exploration and production, principally in the area of precious metals. The Company's initial mining efforts focus in the State of Sonora, Mexico. On January 1, 2010 the Company initiated a drilling program on one of the gold properties held by Mexus Gold Mining Sa de Cv for the purpose of further evaluating a copper deposit.

On December 21, 2009, the Company entered into an Equipment Purchase Agreement and Bill of Sale with Mexus Gold International, Inc. (MGI) whereby the Company agreed to purchase the following pieces of mining equipment from MGI for a purchase price of 40,000,000 restricted shares of the Company’s common stock.  The equipment will be used in mining operations in Mexico.

On December 21, 2009, the Company entered into an Equipment Purchase Agreement and Bill of Sale with Mexus Gold International, Inc. (MGI) whereby the Company agreed to purchase mining equipment from MGI for a purchase price of 40,000,000 restricted shares of the Company’s common stock.  The issuance of securities were deemed to be exempt from registration under the Securities Act in reliance on Section 4(2) of the Securities Act of 1933 as a transaction by an issuer not involving any public offering.

On October 20, 2009, the Company entered into a 180 day option agreement with Mexus Gold Mining, S.A. de C.V. pursuant to which the Company acquired the right to acquire 99% of the capital stock of Mexus Gold Mining, S.A.  The option price is 20 million restricted shares of the Company’s common stock and the exercise price is 20 million restricted shares of the Company’s common stock.  The agreement is conditioned upon Mexus Gold Mining, S.A. de C.V. obtaining an audit of its financial records by public accountants acceptable to the standards required for financial reporting purposes in the United States of America.  The term of the option may be extended by the Company for such reasonable time as is required by Mexus Gold Mining, S.A. de C.V. to complete its audit.

Mexus Gold Mining, S.A. de C.V. represents that it owns or has claim to certain lands which are either patented land ownership or concession agreements in the State of Sonora, Mexico.  In addition, Mexus Gold Mining, S.A. de C.V. owns equipment suitable for exploring for precious mineral deposits or extracting and processing mineral ores for the purpose of sale of such refined product, and has agreed to maintain the equipment in good working order and free of any lien, assessment or claim of indebtedness of any kind or nature.

On October 20, 2009, the Company entered into a 180 day option agreement with Mexus Gold Mining, S.A. de C.V. pursuant to which the Company acquired the right to acquire 99% of the capital stock of Mexus Gold Mining, S.A.  On November 3, 2009, the Company issued 20 million restricted shares of the Company’s common stock as payment for the option.  The issuance of securities were deemed to be exempt from registration under the Securities Act in reliance on Section 4(2) of the Securities Act of 1933 as a transaction by an issuer not involving any public offering.

On October 16, 2009, the Company acquired an eight (8) month option, with a six (6) month extension, to purchase certain patented and unpatented mining claims situated in Esmeralda County, Nevada, United States. The option price was 250,000 restricted shares of the Company’s common stock. The exercise price of the option is five million dollars ($5,000,000) payable in installments of both cash and restricted shares of the Company’s common stock.
